My bride (Reinette) and I have been RVing since 2021. Reinette  has been camping since she was five years old.  She started out in a truck camper and now we have a fifth wheel that we both enjoy.

Me I’ve camped on and off but never had an RV until recently.

I’ve always enjoyed learning new and different things. I also enjoy working with my hands, repairing items that need to be repaired. So when it came to buying an RV it really peaked my interest even though Reinette did most of the research since I was still working I learned a lot.  After I retired I liked working around our RV. It seems that there is always something that needs to be repaired or requiring maintenance.

Since I wanted to maintain my own RV and wanted to learn more about it I decided to go to the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) in Athens Texas and become a Certified RV technician.  I’m really glad I went, because I learned a lot the workings of the RV’s themselves and need for more certified technicians.
